I am Hanna-Liisa Peenmaa, an 18-year-old student at Vanalinna Kolleegium. I first encountered acting at the age of ten when I joined Hanna-Liina Võsa Musical School. For me, theater is a beautiful world—fun, heartbreaking, filled with imagination and endless possibilities. Even as a hobby, theater has the power to transform people. I love it in all its forms and see acting as a liberating experience that anyone can enjoy. It’s a test of one’s limits, revealing the creative and deeper sides of human nature.

Over time, I also developed an interest in directing and began organizing murder mystery games for my friends. I was fascinated by the imagination of young people and how stepping into different roles brought us closer together as friends. It was they who encouraged me to bring these games to a wider audience. My favorite games are Cabaret and Arranged Marriage. I love theater so much because both watching performances and participating in them is an absolute joy. When people act, their body and heart become one.
